Heart's Desire Appaloosas was established in 1997 and is located in Sumner, Texas (8 miles northwest of Paris, Texas).   It is located on the  prairie of northeast Texas.  The name, Heart's Desire Appaloosas, was inspired by a scripture from the Bible:  "Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart."  Psalms 37:4  

Heart's Desire Appaloosas strives to breed appaloosas with color, conformation, athletic ability, heart, and intelligence.  The desire is to produce horses that will be competitive in the show ring in both halter and performance, as well as a good natured companion horse.
